This is a beautiful new setting of the classic text by St. Thomas Aquinas. Interestingly, though scored for organ and SATB choir, they never sound together; rather, the organ acts as a framing element, in a kind of dialog that punctuates an otherwise unaccompanied choral setting. It is a brief piece, and not too difficult, though with its added-note harmonies and a cappella choral treatment, perhaps sounds harder than it actually is. It should come together quickly with little rehearsal time.
