This gentle setting by British composer Andrew Wright is simple, accessible, and not over-arranged. Wright seamlessly weaves a dusting of choral parts and unisons that provide the perfect balance of the ancient and the new. While the voicing is listed as alto, tenor, and bass, sopranos can most certainly join the alto section throughout the entire piece. This setting is not technically difficult.
CHORAL SERIES: Trinitas

LITURGICAL NOTES: The "Ave Verum Corpus" text used liturgically during Offertory, after Communion, or during Benediction is ideal for the solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi). This simple arrangement is appropriate after Communion.
