This Acclamation is based on the beloved ninth-century Latin chant (Mode I) Veni, Veni, Emmanuel. It includes a musical setting of all the applicable texts found in the Lectionary for Sundays, solemnities, feasts, memorials, weekdays of Advent, and the great "O" Antiphons that mark the last days before the Christmas season.
