This setting of Psalm 146 is from Bob Hurd's collection Grail Psalms for Sunday Worship. Using verbatim texts from the new Grail Psalms translation, Hurd gives us this reflective setting for SATB choir, cantor, keyboard, guitar, and solo instrument(s) in C. There are three options for the refrain text and verse options that can be used throughout Ordinary Time and for the third Sunday of Advent. The verses are chanted but end metered to lead the musicians back to the refrain.
