Arrepiéntete/Repent

Expressed by a beautiful, contrite sounding melody, Arrepiéntete/Repent, Jaime Cortez has composed a bilingual piece perfect to be used on Ash Wednesday and throughout the Lenten season. Arranged for an SAT choir along with options for a C or Bb solo instrument, this piece presents several options as to how it is sung allowing for some variation through the season. The melody and text of the refrain is simple helping the assembly to learn it quickly. It is a first of its kind as the Refrain text comes directly from the Roman Missal. It would also be appropriate for Penitential services throughout Lent.
