Be Joyful, Mary, Heavenly Queen

The melody of this piece is as joyful as the title suggests. The text is based on "Regina Caeli, jubila" and can therefore be used throughout the Easter season. The uplifting melody is equally shared throughout the piece and is supported by a variety of harmonizations and voice textures; beginning with a duet between the tenor and soprano and culminating with a contrapuntal SATB texture.
