The title of this song was inspired by Psalm 46:11 ("Be still and know that I am God!"), which reminds us that God initiates all of our encounters with the sacred, and we, in turn, are invited to respond to such encounters, the basis of all worship events. Set for SATB choir and piano, it also includes a part for solo instrument in C. Manalo's simple yet deep text accompanied by this beautiful melody would be a great choice during the Lenten season, retreats, small group prayer gatherings, and the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity.
