Born to Be Our Savior

This bright and jaunty piece retells the Christmas story, highlighting Jesus's humble beginnings, his adoration by the angels and shepherds, and ultimately concludes by asking us to join in the song of gladness and praise. Verses 2-4 feature a simple vocal harmonization (mostly in thirds) that children will easily learn. Solo instrument parts (playable by adults or more musically advanced children), essentially double the melody and vocal harmony, helping to reinforce young choirs.
