The melody of this uplifting Gospel Acclamation is adapted from the English Sussex Carol. Complete with all Christmas season verses, including all feasts and holy days within the Christmas season. The verses begin in chant organum and lead back to the refrain with a metered section utilizing the Sussex Carol melody. The swinging 6/8 feel of the refrain is scored for SATB choir, and is embellished by a brass quartet.
