With a text based on the "O" Antiphons, this Advent responsory is organized in a call-and-response format between the assembly (reinforced by SATB choir) and a cantor. Accompanied by keyboard and guitar, the song has a simple verse structure that will be grasped easily by the congregation. It can be used as a gathering song and has an additional verse for a suggested Penitential Rite.
