Es Ist Ein' Ros' Entsprungen

This arrangement departs from the well-known one by Michael Praetorius, though, like it, it is to be sung a cappella. Throughout, the verse melody is shared among the three voices of the SAB choral setting. Ideal for smaller choird, the melody is often in only one voice, accompanied by melismatic figures in the other two voices.
