Originally from the collection Many More Stories and Songs of Jesus, "Follow the Star" accompanies the story, "The Wise Men Follow the Star," about the journey of the Wise Men to bring their gifts to the baby Jesus. The song may be sung during the Christmas season, and encourages children to imagine the many gifts suitable for "the newborn King."
