God Be in My Head

While meditating on the text of this favorite prayer during the COVID pandemic, the composer realized that a melody and choral setting were forming in her mind. There are many options for performance of this work. If sung once by the SATB choir, unaccompanied, the piece is less than a minute in length. It could also be played first by organ, piano, or even guitar before the voices enter. It is well suited as an anthem or a short Communion Meditation.
