God of Mystery, God of Mercy/To Emmaus

Using the same tune to set two texts for different liturgical moments, Walker has crafted a short, sweet assembly piece for SATB choir, descant, and keyboard that will work throughout the Church year. The first text, by Genevieve Glen, is especially appropriate for Lent, Advent and times of hope and reconciliation. The second text, by Joseph Reuter works well throughout the Easter season, especially the third Sunday.
