Good and Faithful Servant

This upbeat piece for unaccompanied SATB choir draws its musical inspiration from early American hymnody and gospel music. The lyrics, based on Matthew 25, dwell on the on the eternal reward of heaven, purchased for us by Jesus Christ. Though the four verses are assembly friendly, there is a chorus-only call-and-response tag at the end that is not present in the assembly edition (though easily learned).
