Orin Johnson’s Grant Me, O Lord, My God is a beautiful and accessible setting of a prayer of St. Thomas Aquinas. Calmly prayerful at its opening, the piece gradually blossoms with warmth and expression as the text asks for wisdom, perseverance, and hope. This brief anthem offers choirs a graceful and deeply sincere musical prayer, suitable for worship, contemplative liturgy, or moments of quiet reflection.
