This beautiful and central psalm text in Scripture (Psalm 89), set here in responsorial form, may be used on a number of occasions in the liturgy: for Holy Orders, Chrism Mass, and Advent. Though conceived as a meditative song with an a cappella setting, the keyboard may double the choral parts. Optional parts for guitar and solo instrument are also included.
