In the Bleak Midwinter

Not to be confused with the well-known Christmas carol, this is an entirely new musical setting of Christina Rossetti's lyrics. This lovely choral anthem is scored for SATB chorus with descant, keyboard, and flute (whose part is written into the choral score; an individual part is available as a separate download). Its textures shift and change beautifully over its five verses. It will make an ideal addition to your Advent worship, especially ceremonies of lessons and carols.
