The descending whole-tone scale at the beginning of the refrain challenges the assembly to sing in a 21st-century idiom, but is not particularly difficult. Set for keyboard, guitar, SATB choir and flute, this reflective piece is suitable for general use, but more specifically for rites of initiation, graduations, and healing services.
