Set for SATB choir, keyboard, and two solo instruments (the composer suggests flute and recorder), this joyful assembly song of joy and praise will be liturgically appropriate at most festive celebrations. The lilting 6/8 meter sets the trochaic rhythm of the text, which alternates between Latin and English lyrics. The piece is largely diatonic, with touches of modality throughout.
