Intended as a catechetical song for young people, this lightly syncopated, bluesy song has a catchy melody. The parallelism of the lyrics in each verse explores God's call to us to practice, among other virtues, justice, service, patience, wisdom, and love. The lyrical repetition over the five verse and the call-and-response nature of the vocal harmony will make this easily learnable by most children's choruses.
