Lowly the Cradle

In this piece, Hart has beautifully crafted a gentle, tuneful melody that sets her text reflecting upon the Infancy narratives of Matthew and Luke. For use during the season of Christmas (especially The Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph) it is scored for SATB choir with descant, piano, guitar, solo instrument in C, and assembly. This accessible piece—bridging contemporary and traditional styles—will be easily learned by the assembly and is sure to be a new favorite.
