Lux Aeterna Litany

Meant to be used during November, a month set aside to remember the loved one of the community, this simple litany may be used as a prelude or gathering song as well as a post-Communion meditation. Extensive use of seventh-chords and added-note harmonies gives the piece a contemporary cast. Set for cantor and SATB choir accompanied by keyboard and guitar, the sonic scope can be further enriched by the included parts for handbells, solo instrument (viola), and trumpet (in C or B-flat).
