Magnificat

This is a splendid setting of Mary's song with text from the 1963 Grail translation. Schiavone gives us both an SATB arrangement and an optional SSA arrangement for his setting. The keyboard accompaniment works with both choral arrangements. Appropriate for the Evening Prayer Gospel Canticle, it would also work well for themes of joy, justice, mercy, and praise.
