Commissioned for the 50th anniversary of the Federation of Diocesan Liturgical Commissions (FDLC) in 2019, this is a catchy and clever assembly hymn. It is in an easy 7/8 meter (always 3+2+2) and each line of the six main verses begins with the respective initials of the FDLC. Though the unison verses are only in English, the refrain response is an acclamation in both English and Spanish. Parts for SATB choir on these mini-refrains and two solo instrument parts (and optional percussion) enhance the basic accompaniment texture of the keyboard and guitar.
