Multilingual Lamb of God

Originally written for use in the chapel at San Quentin State Prison, this setting is designed with the flexibility to include invocations in Latin, Filipino, Indonesian, Spanish, Vietnamese, Italian, and French (with more options forthcoming online). A cantor models the invocation in the desired language before the assembly sings it, and each iteration continues with the Latin phrase "qui tollis peccata mundi" and the English "have mercy on us." Arranged for SATB choir, keyboard, guitar, and flute.
