A minimum quantity of 5 is required
The music for the hymns for Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter that are contained in this octavo is intended to unify the liturgies of Palm Sunday and the Triduum and, at the same time, simplify the task of parish musicians and choirs. While the texts change for each of the four days, the music remains the same, thus fostering familiarity and participation. The Easter hymn can also be used throughout the Easter season. The "Hymn of the Holy Oils" is intended for the optional Rite for Parish Reception of the Holy Oils on Holy Thursday. It uses the same music as the Ritual Music for the Chrism Mass (The Blessing of the Oils), also available from OCP, edition 20772. The music is scored for keyboard, SATB choir, descant, and also includes a handbell part.
