This gospel-like rendition of the Magnificat is suitable for use during Christmas, as well as Marian feasts and solemnities. The melody is accessible and the harmonies in the SATB choral score are intuitive. The two included solo instrument parts do a wonderful job of emphasizing the joy of this text.
