O Beloved One

Though primarily a choral hymn, it can also be sung tenderly by a soloist or a smaller ensemble as a post-Communion meditation. The full SATB setting (with descant) is accompanied by piano, guitar, and solo instrument in C. This piece can be used throughout the year at liturgies where God's love and unity among the faithful are salient themes. It can be effectively used as a gathering song (especially during Lent) and is meant to be sung prayerfully and passionately.
