Palm Sunday Procession

This processional piece can be easily learned by the assembly especially considering that Palm Sunday occurs only once a year. Set in a call-and-response format, it works equally well whether accompanied by organ or by a combination of instruments like piano, guitar, bass, or perhaps a solo instrument. The text of the refrain is based on the suggested antiphon for the first and second forms of The Commemoration of the Lord's Entrance into Jerusalem, appearing in the third edition of the Roman Missal. It has been arranged for SATB choir, keyboard and guitar by Fr. Ricky Manalo, CSP.
