Robert Farrell’s new setting of this well-known 16th century carol includes an English translation of the Latin text. Skillfully written, with organ interludes between the verses and using different voicing for the verses, this new setting gives this carol fresh new life; it will surely prove to be an anthem that choirs will be eager to sing each Christmas.
