Pie Jesu

The text to both of the opening solos are drawn from the Pie Jesu of the traditional Requiem Mass, while the text to the middle section, sung by the choir, is drawn from the In Paradisum in final section of the Requiem Mass. The text is ideal for the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Soul's Day). It is set for two soloists, SSATB choir, keyboard, and guitar. A translation is provided in the octavo.
