Psalm 23

Presenting two versions of the verbatim response for Psalm 23, this liturgically versatile setting for SAB choir can be used throughout the Church year. The simple response melody— with a flowing, pastoral accompaniment for keyboard and guitar— will be easily learned by the assembly. Each verse, for cantor alone, begins freely chanted but transitions to a metered setting for the closing sentence (or clause) and turnaround, which neatly sets up the assembly response.
