Originally part of Dan Schutte's communal worship collection Drawn by a Dream, "River of Glory" has become a standard in the liturgical repertoire. The uplifting, gospel-style melody is easy for a congregation to learn, while the multiple harmony options provide variety and versatility for the verses. Useful in a multitude of ways, including for the Sprinkling Rite, for baptisms, or when confronting topics of salvation, darkness, or light.
