Comprising three movements - O Gracious Light, Magnificat, and Nunc Dimittis - Schulz-Widmar's beautiful, ethereal piece is scored for SATB and organ. "O Gracious Light" begins slowly and tranquilly, with women alone, adding vocal texture and movement as it progresses. The "Magnificat" has a more stately flavor, and the "Nunc Dimittis" a solemn one. Both feature unison choirs which blossom into harmony.
