Inspired in part by the "In Paradisum" chant, this piece, written for the funeral liturgy, calls upon the saints and angels to welcome a loved one home. Singable by a soloist (and also scored for SAB), "Saints of God" has been written so that the names of deceased family members may be inserted in place of those names provided in the lyrics, in order to observe the memory of those who have gone before in faith and now rest in the joy of God's presence.
