Throughout the Rites of Initiation (Confirmation) the invocation of the Holy Spirit is sung. "Send Us Your Spirit" is based on the "Veni, Sancte Spiritus", often referred to as the Golden Sequence. This is also fitting for Ordinations and Pentecost Sunday.
