Silent Night

Set for SATB choir with descant and an optional keyboard part (the entire piece may be sung a cappella) and a solo instrument part (clarinet suggested), Walker's arrangement of this beloved carol employs beautifully varied choral and instrumental textures over the three traditional verses. In a wordless "fourth" verse the chorus sings "ahh," accompanying an instrumental obbligato line, allowing the assembly to reflect on the foregoing text.
