With an SATB refrain, and melody plus harmony on all three verses, this is a more fully fleshed out setting of a responsorial psalm (Psalm 29) than is typical. Yet the flowing refrain melody in 3/4 time is simple enough that the assembly will immediately grasp it and the text is verbatim to the Lectionary. The accompaniment, peppered with tasteful dissonances, is for keyboard and guitar.
