This newly composed hymn tune and text was awarded Winner of the 2023 Archdiocese of Detroit Hymn and Song Composition Contest in support of the National Eucharistic Revival. It masterfully integrates an approachable melody with a setting for SAB choir and descant with a score for keyboard, guitar, flute, and assembly. The original hymn text is based on the imagery of St. Thomas Aquinas' Pange Lingua Gloriosi and captures the importance of Mass as both a banquet and sacrifice, making it suitable for celebrations of Eucharistic themes such as Holy Thursday and the Exposition of the Holy Eucharist. Both a through-composed and hymn version are included in this octavo.
