Turn Away from Sin

Though it is set in a gently lilting style, this song contains a strong message of conversion. The ostinato refrain, set for SATB choir, can be sung quietly or hummed under the verses. Two sets of verses, for general Lenten use (Ps 51) or Eucharist (Ps 34), and an optional instrumental interlude permit use in a wide range of liturgical moments.
