Perhaps best suited to a small group of singers on the order of the madrigal groups of the Middle Ages, "Wake From Your Sleep" uses the style and flavor of a medieval carol. Announcing the Savior's birth, this song is a prayer that God will be born also in our own hearts. The guitar and woodwind accompaniment add a light and dance-like quality to the small ensemble.
