Although conceived as an assembly song for later in Lent, especially Holy Thursday (the refrain is the text of the Holy Thursday entrance antiphon), this upbeat gospel-style piece also includes additional verses for use throughout the Easter season. It also works for the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. Scored for SATB choir with piano and guitar accompaniment, the melodically stepwise verses will be easily sung by the assembly and your choir will shine on the jubilant refrain.
