The traditional Gaelic text speaks of God’s peace and presence in our lives, as each verse grows in complexity and dynamic volume. Verse 1 begins with a simple melody that can be sung in unison or by a soloist; Verse 2 introduces a harmony part where the choir is split into S/A or high/low voices; and Verse 3 finally expands to SAB parts with a descant.
