Landry stated that the inspiration for this song was the idea that a child can identify with Jesus in a special way at Christmas: because Jesus was born a baby and was "small like me" for several years as a child. This joyful Christmas hymn is scored for two-part choir, piano, guitar, solo instrument, and cello. Liturgically flexible, it can be sung_x0014_ by children, adults, or both together_x0014_ as a gathering song, a recessional, an offertory, or even as a meditation hymn after Communion.
